Lone Star

Lone Star is a monochrome image that was captured at Winnats Pass near Castleton, Derbyshire in the Peak District National Park during one of the Hope Valley's famous 'cloud inversions'. This lone tree stood defiant against the oncoming fog.

Millstone On The Edge

Millstone On The Edge is a monochrome image that was captured at Stanage Edge, Derbyshire in the Peak District National Park on one of my many photography hikes in the Peak District.  Produced for hundreds of years in the Peak District, the millstone is a famous symbol associated with the National Park.

Stanage Gap

Stanage Gap is a monochrome image that was captured at Stanage Edge, Derbyshire in the Peak District National Park on one of my many photography hikes in the Peak District.

This view through the shapely dramatic gritstone ledges sweeps you up the Hope Valley towards Mam Tor and the Great Ridge, just visible in the background.

Three Shires Falls

Three Shires Falls is a monochrome image that was captured at Three Shires Head, which is the convergence point of three shires: Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire in the Peak District National Park.  I shot this image while on a walk with the family in late spring 2017.  The packhorse bridge stretches across the River Dane, a focal point with the falls in this image.
