So yesterday I did a stupid thing. I left the house with my camera, but forgot to check that I had a memory card! Oops, that's not helpful.
Thankfully, I had my phone with me and I was able to shoot some footage of my walk, which was a short one, on my iPhone. This walk around Windgather Rocks in the Peak District National Park, took less that 1.5 hours including time to stop and film. I then edited the footage together in iMovie and included one of my own digital music tracks which I had previously made in Garage Band.
This gave me a very intentional opportunity to practice honing my video skills as I am starting to do more video work and want to improve my skills in this area.
This is a learning opportunity and, while not oscar winning, I hope you enjoy walking with me vicariously through the lovely Peak District countryside.
